I've tried out the visual novel after seeing that it had updated to version 0.3.0
After reading through the game, I am now at the part where I have to explore Nix's home.
There is this game-breaking bug that whenever the game tries to load the options which item to choose from to explore, it completely freezes the game for a few seconds and then forcibly closed it.
It is current unplayable, for me at least.
I am playing on an Android 15 phone, 8 GB of dedicated RAM and 8 GB of expandable RAM, with 128 GB of free storage available.
The bug probably has to do something with the manual interactive elements.

This bug is known, but we still haven’t been able to reproduce it on our test devices (Galaxy S21 Ultra and Google Pixel 2 XL). At the moment, out of 14,000+ Android downloads only three players have reported this crash, so it seems to be tied to specific device setups.
Could you please tell us the exact phone model you’re using?

Just to clarify — do other objects not appear on the screen or are they just not clickable? What exactly happens? Please describe it in a bit more detail
It would also help if you could send a screenshot showing the issue. You can send it to me directly on Discord — kksenikIt is happening for me too. Nix goes into the room and just as you're able to click stuff to inspect the room, the game stops responding

Does this happen immediately after Nix leaves, or does Nix leave and then you tap the screen? Does the game crash?
Sorry for the late reply. nix leaves, and after all the inner dialogue is finished it crashes whether you tap the screen or not.

Hi! If the background is disappearing while the text and character sprites stay visible, that usually means some of the background files didn’t unpack correctly during installation.
Could you please try this:
1. Completely delete the game from your device.
2. Re-download the APK (preferably using Wi-Fi — sometimes mobile data corrupts the file)
3. Install it again.
If the issue still happens, please let me know:
- Your device model,
- Your Android version,
- And there is no background in all the scenes that follow?
This will help us figure out what exactly went wrong!

The game is at a very early stage of development, so no yet
I think the save system is not working properly as I saved 2 - 3 time at different places but all these saves saved the game at the same point which was before the save was made. It is not happening with every save file but almost every save file. You might need to fix it

I use a Android a13 and it says it's not compatible for my model
Hi! The minimum Android version required to run the game is 10, but the recommended version is 14 or higher (that’s the min version we use for testing). So there can sometimes be compatibility issues on versions below 14 — sorry about that!

Hi! The files on itch are all fine — the APK has been downloaded over 15,000 times. It’s possible that the file got corrupted during download. Could you please try:
- re-downloading the file,
- and making sure there’s enough storage space on your device?

Sorry about that! The minimum Android version required to run the game is Android 10, and the recommended one is Android 14 or higher (that’s the min version we use for testing).
Unfortunately, Android 9 is too old for this build to work properly :(

the download says 0.1.2, but the update in development log says 0.2.0 version. Am i correct to assume 0.1.2 is the 0.2.0?
The game was updated to 0.2.0 (the latest version) on Patreon, while the Itch version was updated to 0.1.2. The devlog lists the changes that are included in this build. Sorry if that was a bit confusing!

Is the artwork AI generated?
All character sprites and CG scenes are fully hand-drawn by me (I’ve been drawing long before generative AI even existed :Р) We only use AI as a helper tool for creating some backgrounds, but those are always manually edited and refined afterward.

VirusTotal sometimes shows false positives, and in this case it’s just 1/71 (Jiangmin). That means one antivirus flagged it incorrectly, while the other 70 marked it as safe.
The game is 100% safe — no viruses, no hacking tools. It’s already been downloaded and played by a lot of people without any issues (The game has been downloaded about 4,000 times today alone)
